The Alpha Rho Eta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa was

chartered at Kishwaukee College in March of 1990.

Its founding advisor was Kishwaukee College

science department instructor, Terry Martin,

and its chartering ceremony was presided over by then Illinois Regional Coordinator, Dr. Mary Anne Player.

Since its chartering,

Alpha Rho Eta has...

..achieved 5-Star status numerous times.

...had its advisors awarded with a number

of regional and international awards.

... received a number of regional awards

in the hallmark awards competition.

...and been the home chapter to

4 regional officers,

1 "Most Distinguished Chapter Officer" (Regional Level)

1 "Most Distinguished Chapter Member" (Regional Level)

3 "International Distinguished Chapter Members",

1 "International Distinguish Chapter Officer",
